Te mapa
Adzopé lies in southeastern Ivory Coast, north of Abidjan, in a landscape of low hills, patches of forest and farmland. On the map, the town is a network of roads spreading out from a central area. Residential quarters fill the spaces between them and thin out into plantations and villages along the routes leading away in every direction.
The town is a regional administrative centre and has long been associated with cocoa and coffee, the crops that shape much of the surrounding countryside. It also serves as the market and service town for the area, which shows in the way roads converge on it from neighbouring communities.
An Adzopé map poster captures a place defined by its connections, not by a river or coastline. The street pattern is loose at the edges and tighter at the centre, which gives the design an organic structure. In black and white, it becomes a calm, clear portrait of a working regional town.
Main routes from surrounding towns and villages meet in Adzopé. They draw long lines across the countryside and pull the map's composition toward the centre.
The densest streets sit around the town centre, where markets and administration are concentrated. Newer neighbourhoods extend outward from this core.
At the fringes, the street grid gives way to tracks and scattered buildings among fields and plantations. This gradual transition softens the map's outline.
