Te mapa
Angat is a municipality in Bulacan province, in Central Luzon, where the lowland plain meets the first foothills of the Sierra Madre. Its map combines two landscapes. To the west are rice fields and villages on flat ground, and to the east is rising terrain with winding roads and wooded slopes. The town centre sits compactly between them.
The town shares its name with the Angat River, which flows down from the mountains. Upstream, the Angat Dam and reservoir are a major source of water for Metro Manila. On the map, the river crosses the municipality in a series of bends, with barangays and farmland arranged along its course.
An Angat map poster shows a town where mountain and plain meet. The dense centre, the scattered barangays and the loops of the river make a varied composition, and the terrain to the east adds a sense of depth. It is a quiet, detailed print for anyone connected to Bulacan.
The river winds through the municipality in wide bends. It links the upland watershed with the lowland fields and forms the natural spine of the map.
To the east, roads follow the contours of the Sierra Madre foothills in twisting lines, adding movement and texture to that side of the poster.
West of the centre, flat farmland and villages spread in a fine pattern of field boundaries and short roads, typical of Bulacan's farming lowlands.

Angat means something to families across Bulacan, and its river feeds a reservoir that serves millions in the capital region. Whether it is home or a place of childhood visits, the map turns the river and roads into a calm image for the wall.
