Te mapa
Avaniyāpuram lies on the southern edge of Madurai in Tamil Nadu, close enough that the two merge on the map. The streets are a dense mix of narrow lanes and older residential blocks, with newer layouts filling in toward the outskirts. The long straight runway of Madurai Airport lies just beyond, the one sharp geometric shape nearby.
The town is best known for its jallikattu, the traditional bull-taming event held during the Pongal harvest festival in January. Avaniyāpuram's event traditionally opens the Madurai season, followed by those at Palamedu and Alanganallur. It draws large crowds and wide media attention every year.
An Avaniyāpuram map poster shows the fine grain of a South Indian suburb. There are tightly packed lanes, a few roads leading toward central Madurai, and the open expanse of the airfield. It works well as a standalone print. It also works as a companion to a Madurai map for anyone with roots in the area.
The straight runway of Madurai Airport lies next to the town. Its clean line and open surroundings contrast sharply with the dense residential lanes.
Narrow streets and small blocks form a fine, intricate texture. It is typical of the older settlements that have grown into Madurai's suburbs.
Main roads lead north into the city, and the urban fabric runs almost continuously between Avaniyāpuram and central Madurai.

Koteā ko Avaniyāpuram
People hang this map to remember a family home, a Pongal spent watching jallikattu or the place they flew in and out of Madurai. The title and subtitle can carry a name, a festival year or a short line in any wording you like.
You can choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Classic keeps the dense lanes sharp. Sand gives the print a warm tone that suits the dry southern landscape.
