Te mapa
Ban Sang is a district in Prachin Buri Province in eastern-central Thailand, on the broad, low plain east of Bangkok. The land is almost completely flat, so water shapes the map. Rivers wind across the plain, straight irrigation canals cut through the fields, and villages stretch along the banks.
This is the area where the Prachin Buri and Nakhon Nayok rivers meet to form the Bang Pakong, which then flows toward the Gulf of Thailand. The confluence and the river's large bends are the strongest shapes on the map. Around them, rice paddies form a fine grid broken by small settlements and temple grounds.
A Ban Sang map poster shows a landscape made by water: meandering rivers, man-made canals, and the long, narrow villages following them. With no hills or dense city grid, the rivers become the main subject, and they look especially clear in the Blueprint and Paper styles.
Two rivers join here to form the Bang Pakong. Their meeting point and wide bends give the poster its most striking curves.
Straight canals cross the plain between the rivers, dividing the rice fields into long, regular sections that create a quiet geometric pattern.
Houses and temples are arranged in long lines along the banks. On the map, the settlements follow the water rather than forming compact blocks.

Koteā ko Ban Sang
For families from Prachin Buri, the river bends and canals are the landmarks of home. A Ban Sang poster puts that water-shaped landscape on the wall, whether in the province itself or in a Bangkok apartment far away.
