Bato Map Poster & Print

Bato is a municipality in the Rinconada area of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region of Luzon. Its defining feature is Lake Bato, a broad freshwater lake next to the town. On the map, the lake takes up a large, smooth area, and the town's streets run along its shore before spreading into the surrounding farmland.

The lake is part of the wider Bicol river system and has long supported fishing communities along its edges. Around it, the land is a mix of rice fields and coconut groves. Mount Iriga rises in the distance, and the hills of the region frame the lowland.

A Bato map poster balances a mass of water against a relatively small settlement. That gives it a strong, simple composition: an open lake on one side and a fine web of streets and field roads on the other. The lake shows up especially well in the Noir and Blueprint styles.

01

Lake Bato

The lake is the largest shape on the map. Its irregular shoreline, with small bays and inlets, contrasts with the fine detail of the town beside it.

02

Lakeshore town

Bato's streets follow the edge of the water closely. That creates a long, narrow band of settlement instead of a compact block.

03

Rice lowland

Beyond the town, rice paddies and farm tracks cover the flat land. Their fine divisions fill the rest of the map with a light, even texture.
