Te mapa
Bucha sits northwest of Kyiv, in a belt of pine forest and small rivers that has long attracted people looking for quieter living near the capital. From above, the town appears leafy and low. The streets are arranged in a loose grid of houses and gardens, while the dark shapes of the forest press close to its edges.
The railway from Kyiv runs through the town and has always been its main link to the city, with the station near the centre. The small Bucha river flows along the edge towards Irpin, and the two towns and Hostomel nearby merge into one almost continuous suburban area on the map.
In 2022, Bucha became known worldwide after the Russian occupation, when evidence of killings of civilians was discovered following the withdrawal. The town has since been rebuilding. A Bucha map poster can hold many meanings, from a family home before and after those events to a record of a place that people choose to remember carefully.
Large wooded areas surround the town, and on the map they create soft blank spaces that contrast with the regular pattern of residential streets.
The line towards the capital passes through the centre, a practical axis that shaped how the town grew as a commuter settlement.
Bucha's streets run almost directly into neighbouring Irpin, so the map shows a chain of towns rather than a single isolated settlement.

Koteā ko Bucha
People hang a map of Bucha for personal reasons: it may be where they lived, where family stayed or a place they want to remember with care. A plain, calm print lets the streets speak without additional images.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are yours to edit, so the poster can carry a name, a date or a few quiet words. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
