Te mapa
Caledonia is a village in Racine County, in southeastern Wisconsin, between Milwaukee and Racine. It covers a large area for its population, with a shoreline on Lake Michigan to the east and farmland and residential areas stretching inland. The Root River runs through it on its way to the lake at Racine.
The map reflects that spread. A grid of section-line roads, typical of the American Midwest, divides the land into large squares. Inside them are curving suburban subdivisions, cul-de-sacs and remaining fields. The Root River winds through in a wooded corridor, and the bluffs along the lakeshore form the eastern edge. Interstate 94 runs along the western side.
A Caledonia map poster shows the layers of a Midwestern landscape: the survey grid, the looser suburban streets, the river corridor and the straight lake edge. It's well suited to a family home in the area, or as a reminder of a Wisconsin childhood.
Long straight roads laid out on the survey grid divide Caledonia into large squares, giving the map its strong underlying framework.
The Root River winds through the village in a green corridor on its way to Lake Michigan, a soft line across the grid.
The eastern edge of Caledonia follows the Lake Michigan shoreline. It gives the print a long, clean boundary of open water.

Koteā ko Caledonia
Caledonia is where many families settled between two cities, often with a yard, a creek or the lake nearby. A map of the village is a personal gift for a new house or a milestone.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be edited, for example with a street name or a move-in date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
