Te mapa
Capivari lies in the interior of São Paulo state, in a farming region long associated with sugar cane. The town takes its name from the Capivari river, which passes close by on its way toward the Tietê, and from above its streets form a steady grid that has grown outward from an older centre into newer residential neighbourhoods.
Capivari is the birthplace of the painter Tarsila do Amaral, one of the central figures of Brazilian modernism, born here in 1886. The town keeps that connection alive, and for a place linked to an artist of bold, simplified forms, a clean map makes a fitting portrait: geometric blocks, a curving river and open land beyond.
A Capivari map poster works for people who grew up in the town, families who moved to the state capital or abroad, and admirers of Tarsila's work. The composition is well balanced, with a compact grid at the centre and the looser lines of roads, river and fields spreading out toward the edges of the frame.
The river that gives the town its name passes close to the centre, adding a winding line that softens the regular pattern of the surrounding streets.
The core follows the orderly block grid found across the São Paulo interior, a readable structure that looks crisp at every print size.
Beyond the last neighbourhoods the map opens into agricultural land, with roads and tracks running out across the gently rolling countryside.

A map of Capivari is a modest, graphic way to mark where you come from, and its simple forms echo the modernist spirit of the town's most famous daughter. It suits a kitchen, a study or a gift for parents who still live there.
