Te mapa
Hortolândia lies in the metropolitan region of Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo state, and its map is a patchwork of neighbourhoods fitted between major transport routes. Residential districts with regular, closely spaced blocks alternate with large industrial sites. Highways and a railway corridor cut across the city and connect it to its larger neighbours.
Hortolândia was once a district of neighbouring Sumaré. It became a municipality in its own right in the early 1990s and has grown quickly since, drawing manufacturing and technology companies to the region. Its layout still shows traces of the farmland that once covered this gently rolling terrain, with small streams and green strips between the districts.
A Hortolândia map poster presents a young city defined by growth: dense residential grids, the large rectangles of industrial land and the roads and rail lines that knit it into the metropolitan region. It suits families who have made their home there, people who work in the region, and anyone curious about how Brazil's interior cities have taken shape.
Many neighbourhoods follow tight, regular block patterns laid out as the city expanded. They produce a fine, dense texture across large parts of the map.
Large factory and business campuses appear among the housing as broad, simple shapes. They mark the industries that fuelled the city's rapid growth over recent decades.
Highways and a railway cross Hortolândia and link it to Campinas and Sumaré. They draw strong straight lines that divide the city into distinct sections.

Koteā ko Hortolândia
Hortolândia is a city where many families built their first home, often after moving from other parts of Brazil. A map of its streets marks that beginning in a simple, lasting way and makes a thoughtful gift for relatives far away.
