Te mapa
Caracaraí lies on the Rio Branco, the main river of Roraima. On a map, the broad water is the dominant feature: a wide band that bends past the town, with islands and sandbanks breaking its surface. The streets form a modest grid on the riverbank. Beyond them, the linework stops quickly where the forest and wetlands begin, so the town reads as a clearing between river and green.
The federal highway BR-174, which connects Manaus with Boa Vista and Venezuela, passes through the town and crosses the Rio Branco on a long bridge. The river has long been a transport route as well, and rapids upstream have historically limited navigation. The municipality is large and includes protected areas such as Viruá National Park, with its wetlands and sandy forests.
A Caracaraí map poster captures a meeting point of two routes, one on land and one on water. The bridge and the river's curve give the composition a strong diagonal, while the small grid adds detail near the bank. The result is a map about geography more than density, calm and open.
The wide river sweeps past the town with islands and sandbars. In solid black or deep blue it becomes the most striking shape on the poster.
BR-174 crosses the Rio Branco here. The bridge links the town to the road north toward Boa Vista, a single line spanning the water.
A compact grid of streets runs along the bank and ends abruptly at the forest. The edge is clear and legible at every print size.
