Changyuan Map Poster & Print

Changyuan lies in the western part of Chongqing municipality, far from the dense towers of the central city and closer to the Sichuan border. The countryside here is a mix of low hills, small valleys and cultivated fields. The town sits in a sheltered basin within that landscape.

From above, the older streets form a compact centre. Newer avenues extend outward in straighter lines where the land has been levelled for housing and public buildings. Around the edges, small roads follow the hills and valleys, and fields fill the gaps between built-up areas.

A Changyuan map poster shows a quieter side of the Chongqing region. It is a local centre for the surrounding countryside, and its plan combines a dense older core, recent planned expansion and the uneven ground typical of this part of southwestern China.

01

Compact core

The oldest part of town is a tight cluster of short, irregular streets. It is the densest part of the map and the natural focal point of the poster.

02

Planned avenues

Wider, straighter roads mark recent growth on flatter ground. Their geometry contrasts with the older lanes.

03

Hill country edges

Beyond the town, roads thread between low hills and farmland. This gives the composition a loose, organic frame.
