Te mapa
Chitungwiza lies south of Harare and is one of Zimbabwe's largest urban areas. It was formed in 1978 from the earlier settlements of Seke, Zengeza and St Mary's, and it grew as a residential town for people working in the capital. The road toward Harare remains its main link.
From above, the town is made up of planned residential sections, each with a closely spaced pattern of small plots and narrow streets. These sections are separated by larger roads, open land and the occasional stream, creating a clear modular structure across the map.
A Chitungwiza map poster shows that structure with clarity. The repeating grids of each neighbourhood sit side by side like tiles, and the main roads draw them together. In black and white, a town often seen only as a commuter suburb reveals its own distinct design.
Each planned section has its own dense grid of small plots and lanes, giving the map a finely detailed, tiled appearance repeated across the town.
The main road north toward Harare forms a strong line through the composition and reflects the town's close daily connection with the capital.
Between neighbourhoods, open ground and stream lines break up the density, adding breathing space and a softer natural contrast to the planned blocks.

Koteā ko Chitungwiza
Chitungwiza is home to hundreds of thousands of people, and many Zimbabweans abroad still think of it as where they come from. A map poster keeps that familiar street pattern in view.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with your section name, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
