Te mapa
Cidreira is a coastal town on the northern shore of Rio Grande do Sul, in southern Brazil. Its setting is striking on a map: a long, almost perfectly straight Atlantic beach on one side, lagoons and wetlands on the other, and a narrow strip of land between them where the town is built.
The streets form a mostly regular grid running back from the shore, a pattern typical of the beach towns along this coast. Summer brings many visitors, especially from Porto Alegre, and the town's size on the map reflects its role as a seaside resort as much as a permanent community.
A Cidreira map poster is built from simple, strong elements: the long line of the coast, the grid of streets and the soft shapes of the water inland. It is a clean, graphic composition, well suited to anyone who has spent summers on this stretch of the gaúcho coast.
The shoreline runs in a long, nearly straight line, forming a bold edge along one side of the map and anchoring the composition.
Lagoons and low wetlands lie inland from the coast, their rounded shapes contrasting with the straight shore and regular streets.
Streets run in a steady grid back from the beach, a pattern shared by many resort towns along the Rio Grande do Sul coast.

Koteā ko Cidreira
Cidreira is a place of summer holidays, family houses and long walks on the beach. A map of the town brings that back in winter, and its clean coastal lines look good in a living room or beach house alike.
Add a title, subtitle and date, perhaps the year of a first summer there, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters ship from partners in over 30 countries; HD files are $9.
