Te mapa
Curacaví lies in a valley between Santiago and the Pacific coast, on the route that has linked the capital with Valparaíso for a long time. From above, the town is elongated rather than round: its streets gather along the main road and the valley floor, and the settlement thins out as the ground begins to rise toward the hills.
The valley is agricultural, and the map shows it as a mix of small town blocks, orchard plots and rural lanes. Curacaví is known in central Chile for its chicha, the fermented grape drink made in the area, and for being a familiar stop for travellers on the road between the city and the sea.
A Curacaví map poster works well in a wider format that shows the valley's length and the highway running through it. The hills leave broad, empty space on either side, which lets the fine lines of the town and its surrounding fields stand out in a clean, open composition.
The main road between Santiago and the coast runs through the valley, and the town's centre lines up along it in a long, narrow band.
Around the town, orchard plots and field tracks create a fine rural grid that fills the flat land between the hills.
The dry coastal ranges on both sides leave the edges of the map largely empty, giving the valley a clear, enclosed shape.

Koteā ko Curacaví
This is a map for people with ties to Chile's central valley, whether they grew up in Curacaví or stopped there many times on the way to the coast. It shows a familiar route as a single, calm drawing.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps a family name or a year, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand works especially well for the dry hills.
