Te mapa
Quilicura sits at the northern rim of Greater Santiago, where the valley floor runs out and low, bare hills start to close it in. From above, the commune is mostly flat. Long motorway corridors cut across it, and wide industrial parcels sit beside tighter blocks of housing. It reads as a working edge of the capital, and a map shows that plainly.
Two different textures share the map. One is the large rectangular footprint of warehouses and logistics yards lined up along the main roads north. The other is a fine mesh of residential streets, cul-de-sacs and small plazas built as the city spread outward. Between them, open ground and the remains of the local wetland leave softer, irregular shapes.
A Quilicura map poster shows a part of Santiago that tourist maps usually crop out. It is a place people know from daily life: commutes, first homes and the view of the hills at the end of the street. In black and white, the mix of heavy infrastructure and quiet neighbourhoods becomes a clear, balanced composition.
Major highways run through the commune and link it to central Santiago and the north of the country. On the map they appear as bold, confident lines that divide the street pattern into distinct sectors.
Large blocks of warehouses and distribution centres form wide, simple shapes. Their scale contrasts sharply with the dense residential streets next to them, and that contrast gives the poster its structure.
To the north and west, the urban grid stops against dry hillsides. The built-up area ends in an irregular line where the valley floor gives way to higher ground.

Koteā ko Quilicura
Quilicura is the kind of place people call home rather than visit, which makes it a fitting subject for a personal map. It suits a first apartment, a family house or a move away from Santiago, and marks a specific corner of the city.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example to add a street name or a year. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files cost $9, and printed posters are also available.
