Te mapa
Dhanaula lies in Barnala district in the Malwa region of Punjab, on land that is almost perfectly flat and intensively farmed. From above, the town appears as a compact core of close-packed lanes. Newer streets spread more regularly toward the edges, and roads lead out in several directions to neighbouring towns and villages.
The surrounding countryside is divided into long rectangular fields, the typical pattern of Punjab's wheat and rice belt, with irrigation channels drawing straight lines across it. The town is a market and service centre for the farming villages around it, and its rhythm follows the agricultural calendar of the plains, from winter wheat to monsoon paddy.
A Dhanaula map poster suits this clarity. With no hills or coastline to interrupt it, the map is built entirely from human lines: the tight grain of the old town, the ruled edges of the fields and the roads that tie it to the wider district. It is a modest place, drawn with exactly the detail it has.
The oldest part of town shows as a dense knot of narrow, irregular lanes, clearly distinct from the more open street pattern at the edges.
The farmland around the town is cut into long rectangles, and at poster scale these create a quiet, even texture that frames the settlement.
Roads leave the town toward neighbouring settlements in the district, giving the map a simple, hub-like structure on the open plain.
