Te mapa
Dimbokro lies in central Ivory Coast, on the N'Zi River, in the transition zone between forest and savanna. On a map the river curves along the edge of town, lined by greener, irregular land, while the streets form loose blocks around the centre. Roads leave in several directions, and the rest of the frame is made up of small fields and scattered settlements.
The town grew as a stop on the railway that runs north from Abidjan towards Bouaké and on to Burkina Faso, and the line still passes straight through it. Dimbokro is the capital of the N'Zi region and was once a significant centre for the cocoa trade in this part of the country.
A Dimbokro map poster shows a town shaped by two lines: the winding N'Zi and the straight railway. Between them the street pattern is modest and uneven, and the surrounding countryside keeps the composition open. It is a calm, honest picture of a regional town in the middle of the country.
The river loops past the town in a soft, irregular curve, the main natural feature on the map and a strong contrast to the rail line.
The Abidjan to Ouagadougou railway passes through Dimbokro in a clean straight line, a reminder of how the town first grew.
Streets form wide, uneven blocks with space between them, giving the map a light texture rather than a dense grid.

For people from Dimbokro living in Abidjan or abroad, the map is a quiet link to home: the river, the rail line, the streets where family still lives. It suits a living room or office where a personal image is welcome but should stay understated.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a family name or date. Choose from five styles, including Noir and Sand. Download the $9 HD files for local printing, or order a matte poster from print partners in more than 30 countries.
