Te mapa
Djougou is the main town of the Donga department in northwest Benin, on the rolling savanna of the Atakora foothills. From above the town looks like a meeting point more than a planned grid. Roads arrive from several directions and join near the centre, and neighbourhoods spread out along them into the surrounding farmland.
The town has long been a trading place, connected by routes that carried goods between the coast and the interior of West Africa. Its markets still draw people from the surrounding villages, and the busiest streets show up as the densest part of the map.
The land around Djougou is gently rolling rather than flat, so the outer neighbourhoods have loose, curving streets and are separated by patches of fields and bush. A Djougou map poster shows a town shaped by movement: a strong centre, spokes of road, and quieter edges where the savanna begins.
Main roads from several directions meet in the middle of town. On the poster this gives the centre a clear hub that the rest of the map radiates from.
The streets around the central market are the tightest part of the town plan and show up as a dense cluster in the middle of the frame.
At the edges, the streets loosen into scattered compounds and fields. The poster fades out gently rather than stopping at a hard boundary.

Koteā ko Djougou
For people from Djougou and the Donga region, living in Cotonou or abroad, the map is a daily reminder of where the roads meet at home. It is quiet and personal and fits almost any wall.
Choose your title and subtitle, such as a family name, a neighbourhood or a year, and keep the coordinates. The poster comes in five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
