Te mapa
E’zhou lies on the south bank of the Yangtze, downstream from Wuhan and facing Huanggang across the river. It is one of the most watery places in central China. Lakes of all sizes surround the city, and the largest, Liangzi Lake, lies to its south. On a map the land often looks like a narrow network of causeways and embankments between large pale areas of water.
The main urban area follows the Yangtze in a strip, with streets set back from the flood embankments and bridges linking it to the northern bank. Inland the pattern loosens into villages, fish ponds and roads that curve along the lakeshores.
The city has a long history. In the Three Kingdoms period the warlord Sun Quan made it his capital and renamed it Wuchang. Today it is also home to Ezhou Huahu Airport, a large cargo hub that opened in 2022. An E’zhou map poster pairs that long history with a landscape defined by water.
The city runs along the south bank of the great river. Embankments and bridge approaches form a firm edge along one side of the map.
One of the largest freshwater lakes in Hubei spreads south of the city. Its long, branching shoreline creates wide open spaces on the print.
Between the lakes, fish ponds and narrow causeways make a fine rectilinear pattern. From above it looks almost like lace laid over the land.

Koteā ko E’zhou
The map of E’zhou is almost abstract, with water and land interlocking across the whole frame. It works both as a keepsake of home and as a quiet graphic piece on a wall.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example the name of a district or a family date. The print is available in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
