Te mapa
Fu Cheong Estate lies in Sham Shui Po District, on land reclaimed along the western edge of Kowloon. From above, the estate appears as a group of residential towers set around podiums and open spaces, bordered by major roads and the West Kowloon Corridor. Nearby, Nam Cheong station links the area with the MTR network, and the dense street grid of older Sham Shui Po lies just to the east.
The estate was built as part of Hong Kong's public housing programme, providing homes for thousands of residents in high-rise blocks. Its position between the reclaimed waterfront and the older districts makes it a meeting point of old and new city.
A Fu Cheong Estate map poster captures a very Hong Kong kind of geography. The tower footprints, flyovers, rail lines and tight surrounding streets form a dense, graphic composition. In black and white, it becomes a precise and personal portrait of a neighbourhood that thousands of people call home.
The estate's towers appear as distinct footprints around shared podiums and courtyards, forming a clear cluster on the map.
The nearby station and rail lines cut across the area, linking it to the rest of Hong Kong.
The estate sits on reclaimed land, with wide roads and newer blocks contrasting with the older Sham Shui Po grid.
