Te mapa
Fujairah is the only one of the seven emirates located almost entirely on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula, facing the Gulf of Oman. The city stretches along a straight shoreline, with the rugged Hajar mountains rising sharply behind it. From above, it forms a narrow band of streets between sea and rock.
The port of Fujairah is one of the world's largest bunkering hubs, supplying fuel to ships outside the Strait of Hormuz. In the older part of town stands Fujairah Fort, a restored mud-brick fortification, and the large Sheikh Zayed Mosque is a prominent landmark in the modern city.
A Fujairah map poster shows a city defined by its setting: the smooth coastline on one side, the mountains on the other, and a planned grid of wide roads between them. In black and white, the edge of the sea becomes a strong, clean line along the frame.
The city runs along a long, straight shoreline. On the poster the sea fills one side of the composition, giving it a calm, open edge.
Behind the city the mountains rise steeply, limiting its spread inland. Roads curve and narrow as they approach the slopes, marking the western edge of the map.
The port area stands out as a distinct cluster of basins and quays. It reflects the city's role as a major stopping point for ships in the region.

Koteā ko Fujairah
Fujairah has a distinct character within the Emirates, with mountains and sea side by side. A map of the city suits residents, people who have worked at the port and travellers who remember the drive across the mountains.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The poster is available as a $9 digital download or printed and shipped.
