Te mapa
Warīsān, often written Al Warsan, is a district on the inland side of Dubai, southeast of the airport and away from the coast and the creek. On the map it looks like a series of planned developments separated by wide roads, with large, regular blocks and open sandy land between them.
The best-known part of the area is International City, a large residential development built as clusters of apartment blocks, with sections themed after different countries. From above, its layout forms one of the most distinctive patterns in the district, with repeated courtyards and ring-shaped roads laid across the desert.
Major highways cross nearby, and at poster scale their interchanges draw long ramps across the frame. Beyond the built-up areas, the land remains largely empty sand and scrub, which leaves generous open space. A Warīsān map poster suits that setting: precise geometric housing clusters surrounded by highway lines and quiet desert.
Repeated clusters of apartment blocks and internal loop roads form a distinctive geometric pattern that stands out across the district.
Wide arterial roads and interchanges cross the district, and their long curving ramps give the poster strong lines.
Open sand and undeveloped plots surround the built-up areas, leaving white space that makes the planned blocks easier to see.

Koteā ko Warīsān
Many residents of Dubai spend their first years in the city in Warīsān, and a map of it is a record of that start. The geometric layout also appeals to anyone who likes planned cities and clean, graphic shapes.
