Te mapa
Guaíba sits on the western bank of the broad body of water that shares its name, directly across from Porto Alegre. On a map the shoreline is the defining line. Streets rise gently from the water's edge and spread inland in a loose grid, and the water to the east stays blank and wide, the largest shape on the sheet.
The water between the two cities is often called a lake and sometimes a river, and it carries boats, ferries and the catamaran that links Guaíba to the state capital. Industry, including a large pulp mill, occupies parts of the shore, and its long rectangular footprint contrasts with the finer residential blocks around the centre.
Local tradition ties Guaíba to the planning of the Ragamuffin revolt of 1835, a formative episode in the history of Rio Grande do Sul. A Guaíba map poster keeps that setting in a simple frame: a town facing a large expanse of water, with the lines of Porto Alegre just visible on the far edge if the frame is wide enough.
The eastern edge of town is almost entirely waterfront, a long curving line that gives the poster a strong boundary and a calm, open half.
A catamaran service links Guaíba with the capital across the water, a short crossing that shows up on the map as a clear gap between two street networks.
Large industrial plots along the shore read as broad, simple shapes, a counterweight to the denser residential grid that fills the centre.

Koteā ko Guaíba
For people who grew up in Guaíba or commute across the water every day, this map captures the view that defines the town: streets on one side, open water on the other, and the capital always on the horizon.
Add a family name, a move-in date or the coordinates of a favourite spot on the shore, then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cover six print sizes, or order a matte print with an optional frame.
