Te mapa
Gualeguaychú lies in the southeast of Entre Ríos province, on the west bank of the river that shares its name, a short distance before it flows into the Uruguay. On a map the town is a classic Argentine grid of square blocks. It begins at the waterfront and runs inland in straight lines, with the river curving along its eastern side.
In summer, life in town centres on the riverside promenade, the costanera, and across the water lies the wooded Parque Unzué. Gualeguaychú is known throughout Argentina for its carnival, held on summer weekends in a purpose-built corsódromo. To the east, the General San Martín Bridge crosses the Uruguay River to Fray Bentos in Uruguay.
A Gualeguaychú map poster sets the order of the grid against the soft curves of the river and the wetlands of the surrounding lowlands. It is a natural choice for people who grew up here, spent summers on the river beaches, or came back year after year for the carnival.
A promenade follows the river along the town's edge. On the map it is the curved seam where the regular grid meets the water.
A large wooded park across the river from the centre. Its paths and green space balance the dense blocks on the opposite bank.
The town's square blocks run inland with little interruption. They form a clean, even pattern that is especially striking in the Classic and Blueprint styles.

Koteā ko Gualeguaychú
Few Argentine towns have such a strong summer identity, and people who have lived or holidayed here tend to remember it vividly. A map of the grid and river is a calm reminder of long evenings on the costanera and nights at the carnival.
Personalise the title, add a date or a family name, and keep the coordinates line. Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand are all available. The $9 HD download includes PNG and PDF versions in six print sizes.
