Te mapa
Guamúchil is the seat of the municipality of Salvador Alvarado in northern Sinaloa, in a valley of irrigated farmland between the coast and the foothills of the Sierra Madre Occidental. The Mocorito River runs along the edge of the town. Federal Highway 15, the main route along Mexico's Pacific side, passes straight through it.
The town is widely associated with Pedro Infante, the singer and actor who spent part of his youth here before becoming one of the great stars of Mexican cinema. A statue of him stands in the town, and local pride in that connection is still strong among residents and visitors.
A Guamúchil map poster shows a mostly regular grid of blocks around the centre, the river with its green banks along one side, and the long, straight highway cutting through. Beyond the streets, rectangular irrigated fields fill the valley and give the composition an even, agricultural border.
The river runs along the town's edge in a gentle curve. Its wide bed and vegetated banks form a natural boundary for the street grid.
The federal highway crosses town as a long, straight line, the main route linking Guamúchil with Culiacán to the south and Los Mochis to the north.
Irrigated fields surround the town in neat rectangles and long strips, a reminder that the valley's economy has always depended on agriculture.

Koteā ko Guamúchil
People carry Guamúchil with them when they move to Culiacán, Tijuana or the United States, and a map on the wall keeps the streets of home close. For fans of Pedro Infante, it is also a small tribute to a place that shaped him.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a family name, a quinceañera date or a simple note, and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available, and printed posters on matte paper can come with an optional wooden frame.
