Te mapa
Jaguariúna is a small city in the Campinas metropolitan area of São Paulo state, named after the Jaguari River that curves along its edge. From above, the historic centre forms a tidy grid of short blocks. Newer neighbourhoods and gated communities spread outward over gentle hills, where streets begin to curl and follow the slopes.
The town grew with the Mogiana railway, and rail remains part of its identity. A restored steam train, known locally as the Maria Fumaça, runs heritage trips along the old line between Campinas and Jaguariúna. On the map, the track draws a thin, steady curve through the landscape, quite unlike the stop-and-start pattern of the streets.
A Jaguariúna map poster balances the dense core, the loose outer districts and the winding river in one frame. Industrial sites and highway links toward Campinas appear as large, simple shapes at the edges. The town is also known across the region for its annual rodeo festival, which draws visitors each year.
The river loops past the town in wide bends, and its riparian strip reads as a soft, continuous line against the orderly blocks of the centre.
The old Mogiana line, now used by the Maria Fumaça steam train, passes through town as a smooth arc linking Jaguariúna with Campinas.
Outside the grid, residential streets curve with the terrain, and the map shows a shift from straight blocks to loops and dead ends.
