Te mapa
Jungpyong, usually written Jeungpyeong, is the seat of a small county in North Chungcheong Province, in the centre of South Korea. It became a county of its own in 2003, having previously been part of Goesan. The town sits in a basin with streams running through it, and on the map it forms a tight urban centre surrounded by open farmland.
The built-up area mixes older low-rise streets with apartment complexes, whose blocks appear as regular rows of rectangles. Beyond them, rice paddies spread across the valley floor in orderly strips. Forested hills rise around the basin, and their slopes stay largely unbuilt, forming a natural frame around the whole settlement.
A Jungpyong map poster shows a Korean county town at a clear, readable scale. There is a compact centre, apartment blocks, streams and the geometry of paddy fields, with hills closing in on every side. It is a balanced, peaceful composition that suits anyone who grew up here or has family in the county.
The central streets and apartment complexes form a compact cluster in the basin. In monochrome, the rows of apartment blocks create a distinctive repeated pattern.
Streams run through and around the town, followed by roads and embankments. Their soft curves link the urban area to the fields beyond.
Rice fields cover the flat land, and forested hills rise all around. Together they frame the town and give the edges of the map a calm texture.
