Te mapa
Pyeongtaek lies at the southern edge of Gyeonggi-do, where the hills give way to low, open land cut by rivers draining toward Asan Bay. On a map the city appears as several separate centres rather than one core, connected by expressways and rail lines across a patchwork of fields, reservoirs and newly built neighbourhoods.
The western side opens onto the Yellow Sea, where the Port of Pyeongtaek has grown into a major gateway for vehicle and container traffic. Inland, the city is known for Camp Humphreys, the largest United States military installation overseas, and for a vast Samsung semiconductor campus at Godeok.
A Pyeongtaek map poster reads as a study in planned growth: long straight roads, the geometric outlines of industrial sites and apartment complexes, and the softer curves of rivers and embankments between them. SRT high-speed trains stop at Pyeongtaek Jije station, tying the city firmly to the capital region to the north.
To the west, reclaimed land, piers and the port's long quays meet the water, creating hard angular shapes along the shoreline of Asan Bay.
Rivers such as the Anseongcheon wind across the flat terrain toward the sea, their embankments drawing smooth lines through farmland and between districts.
Recently developed areas, including Godeok, show wide, orderly street blocks laid out around large parks and complexes, clearly distinct from the older town centres.

Koteā ko Pyeongtaek
Many people come to Pyeongtaek for a posting, a job or a few years of study, and leave with a real attachment to it. A map of the city is a practical souvenir of that chapter, especially for service members and their families stationed nearby.
Personalise the title and subtitle, add arrival or departure dates to the coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries, with an optional wooden frame.
