Te mapa
Kabanovo lies in the eastern part of Moscow Oblast, a short distance from Orekhovo-Zuyevo, in the flat, wooded country that runs toward the Vladimir border. On a map it looks like a modest cluster of streets rather than a sprawling town. Housing blocks, private plots and patches of forest meet along soft, irregular edges, and there is no single grand axis organising the whole.
Drawn in line alone, the settlement becomes a study in density. Tighter rows of multi-storey buildings give way to the looser rhythm of houses with gardens, and roads thin out into tracks that fade among the trees. The surrounding woodland leaves broad areas of white on the sheet. That empty space frames the built area and gives the composition room to breathe.
A Kabanovo map poster suits people who know the place from daily life rather than from guidebooks: the walk to school, a relative's house, summers spent outside the capital. The poster keeps the real street layout at a scale where individual lanes stay legible, and it turns a familiar, unremarkable place into a quiet graphic piece.
Denser blocks of apartment buildings sit beside looser grids of private houses and garden plots, so the poster shows two distinct textures of line within a small area.
Woodland surrounds much of the settlement and leaves open space around the streets. On the map this reads as calm negative space that sets off the built-up centre.
Kabanovo lies close to the larger town of Orekhovo-Zuyevo in the eastern reaches of Moscow Oblast. It is far enough from the capital to keep a quieter, smaller-scale layout.

People choose this map to keep a smaller place on the wall, one that rarely appears in atlases or on souvenir shelves. It can mark family roots, a childhood home or a period of life spent east of Moscow, and it has the clarity of a technical drawing.
You can set your own title and subtitle, edit the coordinates line and add a date that matters to you. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files for $9 or order a print on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
