Te mapa
Kiến An lies southwest of central Hai Phong on the flat plain of the northern delta. From above, the district is a compact urban area of main roads and dense lanes, with farmland and waterways around its edges. What sets it apart from most of the delta is a group of low hills that rise within the district and break up the otherwise level ground.
Kiến An was once the seat of its own province before becoming part of the city of Hai Phong. Its urban layout reflects that older role: a clear centre with roads spreading out towards the port city and the surrounding countryside. Rivers and irrigation channels trace thin lines through the fields that remain around the built-up area.
A Kiến An map poster shows a smaller, more local side of Hai Phong. It has no harbour cranes or wide boulevards. Instead there is a knot of streets around the hills, canals running off into rice land, and roads linking it to the larger city. In black and white, the district looks orderly and quietly detailed.
Low hills rise in the middle of an otherwise level plain, and the streets bend around them, which is rare in this part of the delta.
Rivers and irrigation channels thread through the surrounding land, adding fine, meandering lines to the edges of the composition.
Main roads run northeast towards central Hai Phong, and the gradual blending of the two urban areas is easy to follow on the map.

Koteā ko Kiến An
For people who grew up in Kiến An, or who have family in Hai Phong, this poster is a reminder of home at neighbourhood scale. It gives a district its own identity beside the larger city.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed. You can use the Vietnamese name, a family name or a date. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the canals and delta lines well.
