Te mapa
La Concepción lies in Zulia State, west of Maracaibo, on the flat lowlands of the Maracaibo basin. From above, the town is a network of streets and blocks around a central area, with neighbourhoods spreading outward along the roads that connect it to the larger city. Open land and scattered developments lie between the built-up areas, giving the map a mixed, loose pattern.
The town serves as the main centre of Jesús Enrique Lossada Municipality and has grown as Maracaibo's metropolitan area has expanded westward. The surrounding region has long been connected to agriculture and to Venezuela's oil industry. Many residents work in or travel regularly to Maracaibo, and the roads between the two shape the town's growth.
A La Concepción map poster presents the town clearly: its central streets, the main routes that lead out and the neighbourhoods that follow them. In black and white, the flat Zulia landscape turns into a calm arrangement of lines and open spaces. It is a personal print for families from the town, including those who now live far away from Venezuela.
The central streets form a regular pattern of blocks, the densest part of the map and the point from which the town has spread outward.
Main roads lead east toward Maracaibo, and new neighbourhoods have grown along them, extending the town in long lines across the plain.
Between neighbourhoods, open land and scattered buildings create pale spaces on the map, reflecting the flat terrain of the Maracaibo basin.

Many families from Zulia now live abroad, and a map of La Concepción is a way to keep the old street, the family home or the road to Maracaibo in view. It makes a warm gift for relatives.
