Te mapa
Lamma is the third-largest island in Hong Kong, but it feels a long way from the city across the water. Its outline is thin and uneven, pinched in the middle by deep bays, with a steep, green spine running along its length. Cars are not allowed, so the map shows footpaths rather than streets.
Two villages anchor the island. Yung Shue Wan on the northwest coast has a dense cluster of lanes around its ferry pier and waterfront. Sok Kwu Wan sits on a sheltered inlet to the east, lined with seafood restaurants and fish farms. A well-used trail climbs over the hills between them, and ferries connect both villages to Hong Kong Island.
The most recognisable structure is the Lamma Power Station on the western shore, with its tall chimneys visible from much of the southern waters. A Lamma Island map poster pairs that industrial block with village lanes, beaches and empty hillside, all held inside a coastline that keeps folding into coves.
The larger village clusters around its ferry pier, and its narrow lanes are the densest part of the map. It is where most visitors arrive and where most of the island's residents live.
A deep, sheltered bay on the eastern side, lined with restaurants and fish rafts. On the map it cuts far into the island, nearly splitting it in two.
Since cars are not permitted, the drawn lines are walking trails that climb over the ridges between villages and beaches. The result is a light, loose network rather than a street grid.

Koteā ko Lamma Island
Lamma is a place people choose to live because it lets them step away from Hong Kong without leaving it. For them, and for anyone who spent weekends walking its trails, the map is a reminder of ferry rides, quiet paths and village evenings.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with the year you moved to the island. It comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir suits the dark hills against the sea.
