Te mapa
Lat Yao is the main town of a district in the west of Nakhon Sawan province, in the lower northern part of central Thailand. The land around it is mostly flat and agricultural, and on a map the town appears as a compact settlement of streets and blocks surrounded by rice fields, ponds and irrigation channels.
Roads lead out of Lat Yao toward the provincial capital of Nakhon Sawan in the east and toward the forested hills and mountains further west. The layout of the town centre is fairly simple, with main streets carrying traffic through and smaller sois branching off them into residential areas.
A Lat Yao map poster shows how the town and its countryside interlock: a concentrated core, roads fanning out, and a detailed pattern of fields and water around it. In black and white, the town reads as a clear shape within the wide, open plain that defines this part of Thailand.
Main streets and branching sois form a dense core, the most concentrated part of the map among the open farmland around the district town.
Flat fields, irrigation channels and ponds surround Lat Yao, creating a fine, geometric texture that fills much of the poster around the town.
Routes run east toward Nakhon Sawan city and west toward higher, forested ground, giving the town its role as a local crossing point.
