Massakory Map Poster & Print
Massakory is the capital of the Hadjer-Lamis region in western Chad, northeast of N'Djamena and on the way toward the Lake Chad basin. From above, the town sits on a wide, flat Sahelian landscape, where open ground stretches in every direction and the built area forms a compact patch of streets and compounds.
The plan is simple and low-rise. A few main roads cross the town and continue outward, and around them lie blocks of walled courtyards and small neighbourhoods. Beyond the edges, tracks fan out toward villages and grazing land, giving the map an open, radiating quality typical of towns in this part of the Sahel.
