Te mapa
M’Batto is a town in the east-central part of Ivory Coast and the seat of its own department in the Moronou area. It lies in the forested interior of the country's south-east, a region long devoted to farming. The town serves the surrounding villages as a local hub for trade, schooling and services.
The wider area is known for cocoa and other plantation crops, and the map reflects that rural economy. Beyond the town's main streets, a network of unpaved roads and tracks leads out to farms and villages, and the land is divided into irregular plots and patches of remaining forest. The built-up area itself is modest, with a loose grid around the centre.
An M’Batto map poster shows a town that belongs to its landscape. The streets form a clear central cluster, and roads fan out through farmland in every direction, their lines thinning toward the edges of the frame. The result is a light, open print for anyone whose family comes from this part of the country.

Unpaved roads and tracks radiate from the town toward villages and plantations. Their thin, branching lines give the poster a sense of reach.
Beyond the built-up area, the land is divided into irregular farm plots and forest patches. This finely broken pattern forms the print's outer texture.
