Te mapa
Moscow is the classic radial city. The Kremlin, a triangular fortress on a hill above the Moskva River, marks the centre, and major streets fan out from it in every direction. Around it run a series of rings: the tree-lined Boulevard Ring, the wide Garden Ring, the Third Ring Road and, further out, the MKAD motorway that long defined the city limits.
The Moskva River winds through this pattern in broad bends, cutting across the rings rather than following them. Its loops create peninsulas and embankments, including the bend at Luzhniki below the wooded slopes of the Sparrow Hills. Parks such as Gorky Park and Sokolniki appear as large open shapes, while the older districts inside the Garden Ring keep a denser, more irregular web of lanes.
The Kremlin and Red Square were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990, and the Moscow Metro, opened in 1935, is known for its elaborately decorated stations. A Moscow map poster shows one of the clearest examples of a city growing outward in rings, each marking a stage in its expansion.

A wide circular road of about 16 kilometres that follows the line of former earthen ramparts and clearly encloses the historic centre on the map.
The river meanders across the city, forming loops at places such as Luzhniki and Nagatino, which add soft, curving shapes to an otherwise radial composition.

Koteā ko Moscow
Moscow is a city many people know from the metro diagram before they ever learn the real streets. A poster of the actual plan, with its rings and river, suits anyone who lived there, grew up there or keeps a family connection to it.
Write the title in your own words, add a district or a date as the subtitle and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, with a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF for each size.
