Te mapa
Mosquera lies on the Sabana de Bogotá, just west of the capital, about 2,500 metres above sea level. The land here is almost perfectly flat. From above, the town shows a compact historic centre around a plaza, surrounded by planned housing developments and industrial zones. These have expanded quickly as the Bogotá metropolitan area has grown outward.
The municipality belongs to the savanna's old farming landscape of pastures and wetlands, and the Laguna de la Herrera, one of the remaining high-plain wetlands, lies within its territory. Its position between Bogotá and the towns of the western savanna has also made it an important area for logistics and industry. The town keeps its own identity while becoming part of daily life in the capital region.
A Mosquera map poster sets the regular blocks of the centre against the long straight roads that cross the savanna and the softer shapes of wetland and farmland at the edges. It is a quiet, orderly map. With no hills to interrupt it, the street pattern speaks for itself, and even the newest estates show clearly how the town has grown.
The old core forms a small, regular grid around the main plaza. It is the densest part of the map and the reference point for everything that has grown around it.
Long, straight roads cross the flat plain toward Bogotá and neighbouring towns. They give the poster strong lines that run right to the edges of the frame.
Parts of the municipality are low wetland, including the Laguna de la Herrera. Their soft, irregular shapes contrast with the planned housing and industrial blocks nearby.

Koteā ko Mosquera
Many families moved to Mosquera, on the edge of Bogotá, in recent decades. A map of its streets can mark a first house, a new neighbourhood or the place where children grew up, in a style that suits any modern interior.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name or a date. Choose from five styles (Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand), then download the files for $9 or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
