Mudalgi is a town in Belagavi district, in the north of Karnataka. It sits on a wide, fairly level plain, and on the map it appears as a compact cluster of streets surrounded by farmland. Roads leave the town in several directions, connecting it with Gokak, Belagavi and the smaller villages of the area.
