Mwandege Map Poster & Print
Mwandege lies in Mkuranga district of Pwani Region, just past the southern edge of Dar es Salaam. On a map it is defined by the main road heading south toward Kilwa. A growing network of residential streets branches from it into land that was farmland and coastal bush until recently. The pattern is loose and still expanding, with new plots filling in between older homesteads.
Like much of the land around the city, Mwandege has changed quickly as Dar es Salaam has grown. Families come here for space and building plots within reach of the capital. Schools, markets and small businesses line the main road. Just behind them, cashew trees, gardens and open ground are still part of the landscape.
