Te mapa
Ouaké is a town in the Donga department of north-western Benin, close to the border with Togo. From above, the settlement is modest and loosely arranged: a central area where the main roads meet, surrounded by housing compounds, small plots and the open wooded savanna typical of this part of West Africa.
The town serves as the seat of its commune, and its road links run toward Djougou in Benin and across the border into Togo. These routes shape the map more than anything else, giving it a clear crossroads structure with smaller tracks branching out toward nearby villages and farmland.
A Ouaké map poster is a minimal, graphic portrait of a place rarely seen in print. The few major roads, the scattered building footprints and the wide open land between them make a spare, balanced composition. For people from Ouaké living in Cotonou, Lomé or further away, it is a personal way to keep home in view.
The town's main roads meet near its centre, giving the map a simple, legible structure from which smaller streets and tracks spread outward.
Ouaké lies close to Togo, and the road heading west toward the frontier is one of the defining lines on the map, connecting the town to its neighbours.
Beyond the built-up area, the land opens into wooded savanna and farmland, leaving generous blank space around the town on a minimal poster.

Koteā ko Ouaké
Posters of large capitals are easy to find, but maps of towns like Ouaké are rare. For someone who grew up here or has family in the Donga, a print of these roads is a personal, uncommon object that says exactly where they come from.
Write your own title and subtitle, keep or edit the coordinates line, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital package includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF.
