Te mapa
Pāndhurnā lies in southern Madhya Pradesh, near the border with Maharashtra, on the Nagpur side of the Satpura range. On the map, the town forms a compact centre of close-set streets, with main roads and a railway line running through it and farmland spreading out on all sides.
The area around the town is known for orange orchards, part of the wider citrus belt that extends toward Nagpur. The Jam River flows past the town, and in 2023 Pāndhurnā became the headquarters of its own district, separated from Chhindwara.
The town is best known for the Gotmar Mela, a traditional festival held on the riverbanks during which people from two villages throw stones at each other across the water. A Pāndhurnā map poster shows the setting of that tradition: the river, the dense town beside it and the roads leading out into the orchard country.
The river runs past the town and is the site of the annual Gotmar Mela, when crowds gather on both banks facing each other across the water.
A railway line and main roads pass through town on the route toward Nagpur, forming the strongest lines on an otherwise fine-grained map.
Farmland and orange orchards surround the town, leaving open space on the poster that sets off the dense cluster of streets at its centre.

Koteā ko Pāndhurnā
People from Pāndhurnā often live far away in Nagpur, Bhopal, Pune or abroad, and a map of the town is a quiet way to bring a piece of home into daily life.
Customise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family name or a festival year, and choose Classic, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters are available from partners in over 30 countries.
