Te mapa
Peruvallur is in Malappuram district, in northern Kerala, a region where towns and villages rarely have hard edges. From above it looks like a continuous weave of lanes and homesteads spread over gently rolling laterite country. Houses sit in their own compounds, shaded by trees, with no tight central grid.
The lanes follow the land. They curve around low hills, dip toward the paddy fields in the valleys and join the main roads at irregular junctions. Seen from the air, much of the surrounding landscape is under coconut palms and mixed garden cultivation, which softens the boundaries between one settlement and the next.
A Peruvallur map poster turns this organic pattern into a delicate line drawing. Without a grid to impose order, the streets branch and wander like veins in a leaf. The result is intricate and calm, and unmistakably shaped by Kerala's terrain.
Narrow roads split and rejoin across the area in an irregular network that reflects centuries of settlement adapting to local hills and property lines.
Lower ground between the hills has traditionally been used for rice fields. On the map these show as open spaces that the lanes skirt around.
A few wider roads cross the area and link it to neighbouring towns. They give the delicate lane network a firmer backbone.
