Te mapa
Reutov lies just east of the MKAD, Moscow's outer ring road, and the city's districts surround it on most sides. On a map, the boundary is hard to spot. The town's large residential blocks run straight into the capital's, and the ring road runs along its western edge as a heavy curved line.
The railway to the east, towards Nizhny Novgorod, crosses the town and gives Reutov its commuter station. Housing estates from several decades fill the land around it, with wide courtyards between long apartment buildings. Reutov is also home to NPO Mashinostroyeniya, a long-standing aerospace design bureau, whose grounds form a large self-contained block in the plan.
A Reutov map poster captures the edge of a metropolis. It is not an open landscape but a tightly built town whose outline is set by highways and rail lines. In black and white, the ring road's curve and the repeated rhythm of the courtyards make a strong, graphic image.
Moscow's ring road runs along the town's western side, a broad arc that separates Reutov from the capital on paper, if not in daily life.
The main line east from Moscow crosses the town in a straight cut. Its station links residents to the city centre within minutes.
Large apartment blocks arranged around shared courtyards make a regular, geometric pattern across most of the residential area.

Koteā ko Reutov
Reutov residents often say they live in Moscow and not in Moscow at the same time. This map shows that double identity clearly and makes a good record of a first flat or a childhood home by the ring road.
Give it a custom title, a subtitle such as a street or year, and your own coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir suits the dense urban grain especially well.
