Te mapa
Sai Wan Ho occupies a narrow strip of Hong Kong Island's north-eastern shore, between Quarry Bay and Shau Kei Wan in the Eastern District. Like much of the island, it is shaped by the meeting of sea and mountain. A thin band of flat, reclaimed land runs along the water, with towers climbing the lower slopes before the hills rise sharply behind.
The neighbourhood is crossed by long east–west lines: the MTR Island Line underground, the double-decker tram along Shau Kei Wan Road and the Island Eastern Corridor along the shore. A ferry pier links Sai Wan Ho across the harbour to Kwun Tong and Sam Ka Tsuen. The Hong Kong Film Archive sits among its residential blocks.
A Sai Wan Ho map poster turns this compressed urban landscape into a striking image: the tight street grid, the curve of the harbour edge, the waterfront promenade and the contours of the hills. The neighbourhood sits at the eastern end of Victoria Harbour, close to the narrow Lei Yue Mun channel, and offers a view of Hong Kong that locals know well.

The tramway, the Island Eastern Corridor and the MTR run in parallel lines across the map. They bind Sai Wan Ho to the rest of the island's northern shore.
Behind the housing estates the land rises steeply into wooded hills. On the map, the streets end abruptly where the green slopes begin.
