Te mapa
Sakado lies in central Saitama Prefecture, where the dense suburbs of greater Tokyo start to loosen into farmland and low hills. From above, residential streets fill the flat ground in small, irregular blocks. Rail lines and main roads cut through them on long diagonals. Rivers wind across the municipal area, bordered by fields and green strips that break up the housing.
The city grew as a commuter town linked to central Tokyo by the Tobu Tojo Line, with Sakado and Kita-Sakado stations as its main hubs. It is also a university town and home to the main campus of Josai University, whose grounds show up as a larger, more open block among the smaller residential plots.
A Sakado map poster shows the typical texture of the Tokyo fringe: fine-grained housing, station districts where streets gather around the tracks, and river valleys that interrupt the pattern. The effect is gentle rather than dramatic. The dense street lines fade into open fields towards the edges, which suits a quiet, detailed print.
The railway runs through the city on a steady line, and streets and shops gather around the stations, making the station areas the densest parts of the map.
Rivers wind through the municipal area, bordered by fields and embankments that leave open, curving bands between the residential districts.
The Josai University campus is a broad block with its own internal paths, clearly different from the tight parcels of surrounding housing.

Koteā ko Sakado
Sakado is the kind of place people call home for years, perhaps a first apartment, a student room or a family house near the station. A map of those everyday streets can mean more than a skyline, because it shows the routes you actually took.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a graduation or moving-in date, and the coordinates line. The print comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, so it can match a small apartment or a bright study.
