Te mapa
Sinan is a county in South Jeolla Province, made up of a large number of islands scattered across the Yellow Sea off Korea's southwest coast. On a map it looks less like a town and more like an archipelago: countless island outlines, narrow channels and bridges linking the larger islands together.
The region is known for its sea salt, produced in extensive salt pans on islands such as Jeungdo, and for its tidal flats, part of the Getbol area inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2021. The Cheonsa Bridge now connects several islands with the mainland near Mokpo.
A Sinan map poster shows this fragmented geography in striking detail: irregular coastlines, winding island roads and fine lines of bridges spanning the water. The sea fills much of the sheet, giving the islands a clear, almost sculptural presence.
Hundreds of islands of varied size and shape spread across the map, their jagged coastlines creating a rich pattern of land and water.
This long bridge links several islands to the mainland, drawing a slender line across open water and connecting the archipelago with the wider region.
Broad intertidal flats and rectangular salt fields line many islands, visible as regular shapes along the coasts that reflect the county's traditional salt production.

Koteā ko Sinan
Sinan suits islanders, visitors who explored the tidal flats and salt fields, and anyone who enjoys maps where water shapes everything. The archipelago makes a distinctive, detailed poster that stands apart from ordinary street maps.
