Te mapa
Stupino lies in the south of Moscow Oblast, near the northern bank of the Oka River. It grew in the Soviet period around industrial plants, especially in aviation and metallurgy. That history shows on the map: planned residential districts with broad streets and courtyards, and large industrial sites along the railway.
The Paveletsky line from Moscow runs through the town, and the station was the original core of the settlement. To the south, the land descends toward the Oka, with woods and meadows along the river. Most of the town sits on higher ground, spread in fairly regular blocks.
A Stupino map poster shows that planned order: straight avenues, rectangular housing districts and the long line of the railway. The broad, bending Oka runs to the south. In black and white, the contrast between the regular town and the river landscape is especially clear.
Residential areas are laid out in large, regular blocks with courtyards. They make an orderly, geometric pattern typical of Soviet town planning.
The line from Moscow cuts through the town beside the station and industrial zones. It forms a strong, straight axis on the map.
The wide river flows south of the town among woods and meadows. It gives the lower part of the composition a sweeping natural curve.

Koteā ko Stupino
Stupino is a town many families moved to for work in its plants, and it became home. A poster of its streets and the Oka captures that sense of a planned town settled into a river landscape.
