Te mapa
Tanjung Pandan is the largest town on Belitung, an island in the Java Sea between Sumatra and Borneo, in the Bangka–Belitung Islands province. It sits on the western shore where a river opens into the sea. From above, the town follows the estuary and the coastline. There is a small harbour, a grid of central streets, and quieter residential lanes reaching inland.
For much of its modern history Belitung was known for tin mining. Old excavation pits and flooded quarries still mark the landscape around the town. In recent years the island has become better known for its coast, where smooth granite boulders rise from clear, shallow water. They are most striking along the beaches north of Tanjung Pandan.
A Tanjung Pandan map poster shows a compact island town defined by water. The shoreline runs along one side, the curving estuary passes along the town, and small lakes left behind by mining are scattered around it. It is a fitting keepsake for anyone who has lived on Belitung or travelled there for its beaches.

The town faces the sea to the west. The coastline forms a clean edge on the poster, and water fills part of the frame.
Around Tanjung Pandan, flooded pits from the tin-mining era appear as small irregular lakes. They are a quiet trace of the island's industrial past.

Koteā ko Tanjung Pandan
Belitung has a strong sense of place, and people who grew up there or visited often want something more personal than a beach photograph. A map of Tanjung Pandan, with its coast and estuary, offers that quietly.
