Te mapa
Tiruppālai lies on the northern side of Madurai in Tamil Nadu, part of the wider urban area that has grown outward from one of South India's oldest cities. From above it reads as a transition zone. Some blocks are tightly packed residential lanes and others are looser plots and open land, while main roads carry traffic toward the centre and across the Vaigai River.
The street pattern is informal rather than planned. Lanes bend and branch, follow old plot boundaries and fill the space between the arterial roads, so the map shows a dense, irregular texture. Across this part of Tamil Nadu, irrigation tanks and fields often sit close to built-up streets, and the edges of the neighbourhood tend to show the same mix of settlement and open ground.
Madurai itself is known for the Meenakshi Amman Temple and the old centre laid out in concentric streets around it, and Tiruppālai belongs to that larger urban story. A Tiruppālai map poster frames the neighbourhood at a local scale, so the lanes you actually walk stay visible instead of getting lost in a city-wide view.
The map sits where Madurai's continuous built-up area begins to thin, so dense residential blocks give way to larger plots and open land within a short distance.
A few main roads run through the area and carry traffic south toward central Madurai, giving the poster clear structural lines among the smaller lanes.
Between the main roads, narrow streets branch and curve without a grid, a pattern typical of neighbourhoods that grew gradually rather than being planned all at once.

Koteā ko Tiruppālai
A poster of Tiruppālai is a way to keep a specific part of Madurai close: the neighbourhood you grew up in, the street of a family home or the place you left for work elsewhere. The local scale makes it personal rather than generic.
Set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a move, an anniversary or a family address. Then choose one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to suit the room it will hang in.
