Te mapa
Ulianópolis lies in eastern Pará, in the Brazilian Amazon, alongside the BR-010, the Belém–Brasília highway. Like many towns that grew along this route, it was laid out on a regular plan. From above, straight streets form rectangular blocks, and the highway runs past as a firm, uninterrupted line.
Beyond the town, the map opens onto a mix of farmland, pasture and remaining forest. Rural roads leave the grid at right angles and head into the countryside, dividing it into large properties. Streams cross this landscape in irregular lines, often marked by strips of trees along their banks.
A Ulianópolis map poster shows a common shape of Amazon frontier settlement: a planned grid, a trunk road and wide rural land around it. In black and white the contrast between the ordered blocks and the looser landscape becomes the main subject.
The BR-010 runs past the town as its main axis, a long straight line that links Ulianópolis to the rest of Brazil and shapes its growth.
The town centre is laid out in straight streets and rectangular blocks, a planned pattern that reads clearly and evenly at any print size.
Straight side roads branch off into farmland and forest, dividing the land into large parcels that fill the edges of the map with long lines.

Koteā ko Ulianópolis
Ulianópolis is a young town, and many residents remember when its streets were first built. A map of the grid is a way to mark that story or a family's place in it.
Add a title, a subtitle and the coordinates line, in Portuguese if you prefer, and choose one of five styles. Printed posters on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, are made by partners in more than 30 countries.
